The Remote Reunion

It is difficult to know where to start when talking about this project, as it means so much to myself and everyone involved, for so many different reasons ! The collective of musicians, friends, mentors and collaborators involved in the making of this music has been breathtaking, and I can personally say that I am overwhelmed with all the incredible people who have made this possible. A celebration of over two decades of friendship and music.

We have come together to present a collection of songs, remotely recorded from all corners of the world. The Remote Reunion. Born in a time where concerts and live shows where cancelled, due to a world pandemic, this was the perfect time to reunite and create something special. In the 20 something years passed since we have all played together, the success and musical achievements of the members of this band has been incredible to see. It is also very humbling. The musicians on this album have gone on to perform and record not only as artists in their own right, but also with some of the most prestigious artists and performers world wide. An enormous thank you to all the musicians, writers, arrangers and friends involved in this project. A special thank you also to Tom for his hawk-like hearing and production assistance!

This would not have been possible without a very special couple. It's for this reason that we would like to dedicate this album to them. Al and Louise Wood. Al has been , and always will be, our teacher, mentor, at times psychologist, and dear friend! He has passed on his talent, love and knowledge to every musician involved in recording this music. Without him this music would never have been created. Thank you for everything, Al!
Louise sadly passed away in October 2021 and so we also dedicate this album in loving memory of Louise. While Al was getting us in shape to learn our trade, Louise was getting us in shape for real life! Finding us gigs, supporting us in times of need, making sure gigs got paid, supporting our concerts and being a constant backbone for us all. We couldn't have done it without you!

So from all the Lads, it's time to get "Back On Yer Heads"
